27 Down, 5 to go

I still have 5 more teams to do 2008 raw projections for, then I will be done with the lengthy stuff. Of course, these projections won't be completely done until the season starts on September 4 (I already have adjusted some stats in my projection files and will get them on-line as soon as I can), but going through each teams entire off-season player movement, draft, etc. takes about an hour and half, so now I can concentrate on day-to-day news from each team's training camp.

Once I have the raw projections done, I will immediately begin work on the following:
1. Use defensive ratings to turn raw projections into actual projections
1a. Remove Week 17 from actual projections
2. Use variance to identify consistent players
3. "Reward" players for statistics gathered in fantasy playoff weeks (15-16)
4. Post lists of players by position
5. Compare our rankings with average draft positions in online leagues

I will go into more detail on each of these 5 steps as I work on them, but that is what we have in store. Enjoy.
