Ryan Torian Breaks Elbow

I promised myself that I wouldn't take a Broncos running back this season. Last year in one of my leagues, I had both Travis Henry and Selvin Young, and still never knew which one to start from week to week. This year, with no clear workhorse between Selvin Young, Ryan Torian, and Andre Hall, I was determined not to take one. Let someone else deal with the headaches.

Suddenly, Torian cracks an elbow in practice and things look a little more clear. I have bumped up my carries for both Young and Hall, and now you have to consider rookie Anthony Alridge. So now, Young looks capable of being the starter all year long, and could put up some nice numbers.

We have Young slated to carry 200 times for 964 yards this season. Not bad for a guy that can be picked up in the 7th round of most drafts.

By the way, Michael Pittman does not concern me, as the Broncos had moved him over to fullback before the injury. Although he is now slated to go back to the tailback position, it is obvious that Shanahan doesn't think much of his running ability, and I don't expect him to get many touches.
