This blog has been going for about 9 months now, and has been in this location for just a little over two weeks. This is the first time I've had the ability/knowledge to get stats on the site, but today was our biggest day yet at this location. I don't know if it is because old readers are starting to find us at the new site or if its because this is the first Sunday of the pre-season, but its nice to be noticed.
Anyway, with some new readers coming in, I thought I'd share with you what I am trying to accomplish here.
The main goal on a day-to-day basis is to take the biggest fantasy story of the day and write an in-depth article on the impact of it. While sites like Rotonews are great, I think over the last few years they have started to inundate their readers with information. Especially this time of year, probably about 1 in 20 postings actually have a fantasy impact. I mean, I really don't care if the Atlanta Falcons backup left guard has a sprained knee - their offensive line is still horrible, and this development does not affect my fantasy team.
I will only post on news or rumors that have a tangible impact on your team's bottom line. Thus, I have had only one Brett Favre posting this summer (below), as apposed to Rotonews' 67,437.
So by reading this site, you can get an idea of the news that will have a definite impact on the landscape of fantasy football. We won't bring the news to you first, but we will strive to be the first to break the important news down to its impact on your players' yardage and scoring.
Also, I am slowly developing a projection system that I am rolling out as the offseason progresses. We will be referring to this system all season, as we try to project weekly stats. Invariably, we will be tweaking the system all year long and into the offseason as we try to find the holy grail of the infallible projection system. I don't think we are near the holy grail level yet, but we at least have a "pimp cup."

Thanks for limiting the Brett Favre postings. From a fantasy perspective, only so much needs to be written.
Thanks for noticing. I was thinking of just posting a "Favre Favre farving may become a Favre within the next Favre days" post just to break the monotony. Or maybe we should just have a moratorium on Favre altogether, where we just refer to him as "he who should not be named." I still think it will be about 2 weeks before we know for sure what is going on this year.
