My first impression on reading the box score was "who the heck is Mike Tolbert?" He had the second most carries on the Chargers (3 for 6 yards), while Darren Sproles had 2 and Jacob Hester had none. It turns out Tolbert is a rookie fullback that won the starting job from Andrew Pinnock, so good for him. He is obviously not on the fantasy radar as a Tomlinson handcuff. It appears that Sproles will be used as the change of pace back for now, but expect a Sproles/Hester committee if the unthinkable happens to LT2.
DeAngelo Williams (18 carries for 86 yards) got more work than Jonathon Stewart (10 for 53), but expect that workload to be reversed by the end of the year.
Donte Rosario surprised everyone with his 7 catch, 96 yard performance that included an amazing grab for the game-winning touchdown. Don't get too excited - Rosario was lining up in the slot while Steve Smith is out, and his targets will go down considerably by week three when Smith comes back. His week 2 status is uncertain as he now has a sprained foot. Pass.
