Michael Turner is definitely a burner, as he carried 22 times for 220 yards and a 66 yard TD run. We'll see what he does against a better run defense, but he has the skills that the Falcons were hoping for when they drafted him.
Jerious Norwood chipped in with 14 carries for 93 yards and a TD, as Atlanta looked to protect Matt Ryan (only 13 attempts). We'll see if Norwood still gets this type of workload in games that the Falcons are trailing.
As many expected, Calvin Johnson looks to be taking over as the #1 receiver in Detroit. He was targeted 12 times, Roy Williams had 7.
Kevin Smith (16 carries for 48 yards) did little to keep his job from Rudi Johnson (3 for 14).
