Bo Scaife was the Titans leading receiver, and received more targets than starter Alge Crumpler (6 to 2). It appears that Vince Young still favors his old college team-mate. However, Young will be out for 2-4 weeks, so that trend may reverse with Kerry Collins at the helm. I wouldn't run out and get Scaife or drop Crumpler just yet.
In fact, the fans in Tennessee are starting to turn on Vince. There was booing before he got injured, and rumors that he tried to pull himself from the game before the injury won't endear him to anybody. If the Titans are able to win with Kerry Collins, Young could find himself in a full-blown quarterback controversy when he comes back. He can safely be dropped from most fantasy teams, as when/if he starts again, his most important commodity (his legs) will be damaged.
Chris Johnson (15 carries for 93 yards) and LenDale White (15 for 40) are already splitting carries, with Johnson looking like the much more dynamic back. Expect Johnson to keep stealing more and more carries from White, but LenDale will still get goal line carries. So will be able to see LenWhale shake his giant gut in endzone celebrations all year long. If you missed the highlight, take a tub full of jello and give it a shove. That's what it looked like.
The Titans run defense is still great. Owners of Fred Taylor and MJD shouldn't be too concerned about their lack of performance.
