As those of you that have been following this site for a while know, we have developed a program that we put all the 2007 box scores into to come up with our "True Player Values," or defense-adjusted statistics.
I need to make a few adjustments to the program to put in this year's stats, and if I get motivated enough I will also put in the 2006 box scores, so that we will have 3 years of True Player Values at the end of the season (which, incidentally, is the amount of time you should look back when making player projections).
The other thing I need to put into this program is the ability to add 2008 projections, so I can use these in conjunction with 2008 defensive ratings to come up with weekly predictions.
Each day during the season, we will try to break down the biggest fantasy story of the day to take a detailed look at the projected impact.
Also, we will briefly break down any trends or developments that we see from each game during the week, similar to what we wrote for the Giants-Redskins game last night.
