Ray Rice May Have Some Value this Sunday

Willis McGahee is still struggling to recover from his knee surgery a few weeks ago, and admits that he is only "50-50" to play this Sunday. If McGahee can't go, then rookie Ray Rice looks to get a full workload against the Bengals.

Given Rice's performance in the pre-season and Cincinnati's porous run defense, Rice could have a nice little game in his debut. However, if McGahee is able to play, they will probably split the workload, which won't be good for anyone. If you are planning on using Rice, look at the Ravens' injury report on Sunday morning. If McGahee is active, neither player will be worth starting.

I think that the Ravens' brass would like nothing more than to see Rice succeed this year, so that they can dump McGahee during the offseason, and this week could be the first step in that direction.
