A QB controversy was brewing in Houston when the Texans had a 27-10 lead late in the 4th quarter, but a complete meltdown by Sage Rosenfels (21-33, 246 yards, 1 TD, 1 Int) ensured that Matt Schaub will have his starting job back next week.
Steve Slaton (16 carries, 93 yards, 2 TDs) gave way some to Ahman Green (12 carries, 47 yards), and they looked about the same, except for Slaton's 41 yard run. Still, Slaton got all the goal-line touches, and is just a much more dynamic back at this point. Its amazing that Green somehow did not get hurt in this game - that will change soon.
Peyton Manning and the Colts offense still look out of sync, and it is time to start worrying a little. Perhaps the days of them imposing their will on defenses are over, but the numbers (24-34 for 247 yards, 2 TD, 1 Int) still will work for most fantasy owners. I just wouldn't expect Manning to lead my team to a championship by himself.
