Wow. After wins against New England and San Diego, the Dolphins can no longer be considered a laughingstock. Chad Pennington was his old efficient self, and the "Wildcat" offense is throwing defenses for a loop.
Don't get too excited about Ronnie Brown's increased carries over Ricky Williams (24 to 13) yet. For the season, Brown only has 8 more carries than Williams, so I would give it at least another week before expecting 20+ carries from Brown every game. Still, with two consecutive 100 yard games, it would be hard to put Brown on the bench - it looks like he is back to pre-injury form, which is one of the best backs in the NFL.
Phillip Rivers (13-28 for 159 yards, 1 TD) had his first truely whelming performance of the season. This may continue as most of his top targets (LT2, Gates, Chambers) are either out or banged up.
Tomlinson (12 carries, 35 yards; 5 catches, 22 yards) re-aggravated his toe injury, but unlike Brian Westbrook, he vows to continue playing at less than 100%. This will hurt his production (but if you have him, you can't think about benching him), and will also keep Darren Sprole's touches down to a level that will make him useless.
