Last week, True Player Values analysis showed that Eli Manning is a top quarterback. I, as inventor and sole proponent of True Player Values, poo-pooed it, and claimed it was an anomaly of sample size. After his 19-for-25, 267 yard, 2 TD, 0 Int day against the Seahawks, should I flip-flop on that opinion? OK, the Seahawk's pass defense has been awful (+20.7 TPV) this season, so Eli's TPV yardage is this game was merely 221 yards, his lowest output of the season. Still, I think we need to regard Eli as a very good, but not great, fantasy QB. If you have him or acquire him, you will wind up sitting him a lot during contests against the tough defenses in the NFC East.
Ahmad Bradshaw got the second-most carries behind Bradon Jacobs, but only after the game was out of hand. Bradshaw is clearly the #3 back behind Jacobs and Ward, and is only used in blowouts.
Domenik Hixon (4 catches for 102 yards, 1 TD) looked great, then got hurt, and will give way to Plaxico Burress this weekend. Still, the thought of him displacing Amani Toomer is intriguing.
Julius Jones (17 carries for 61 yards) came back to earth as expected, but his TPV yardage was actually 92 yards against the Giants defense, so he still seems to be running pretty well. He deserves to get most of the carries when Maurice Morris returns - we'll see if that happens.
Bobby Engram (8 catches for 61 yards) was back and picked up where he left off. This guy is a catch machine that is gold in PPR leagues.
