n our experience, brands love to start revealing details of new smartphones bit by bit. Take vivo, for example, which has been slowly revealing details of its upcoming X50 series in recent weeks. Earlier today, a new leak has revealed the existence of the X50 Pro+.
A leak on Twitter revealed that there will be three models in the vivo X50 series: The X50, X50 Pro, and X50 Pro+. From the leaked image, we can see the specs for all three new models. As you can see, the X50 Pro+ has a flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. Its display also has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
In terms of features, the cameras for the X50 Pro and X50 Pro+ are largely the same. However, the latter’s main camera is a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL sensor instead of 48MP. The spec also confirms that it has a superior 44W fast-charge support and leather material for the back of the phone. Additionally, there are some clues on the prices for the phone; the X50 Pro is expected to retail for more than 4000 yuan (~RM2437).
vivo is scheduled to launch the X50 series on 1 June 2020, so we’ll probably see more leaks appearing right up to the actual launch.
